Why America bashing is silly and thoughts on the future of mankind

You hear it all the time. 'I hate America, blah blah'. I was guilty of it myself on many occasions in the past, unthinkingly rattling off down some feeble trail of thought. The fact is, the United States has given the world as much, if not more, than what its tyranny, perpetrated by a few within the system, will ever do to the collective people of Earth. It was started as a 'New World' by visionary men, who were attempting to put an end to the tyranny of the old European system.

A system that had made slaves and servants of the bulk of the population to service the aims and the pleasure of the elite. They started it with that notion, but of course, the taint of greed and love of power were quick to rear their heads in some form or another in this new world, and plenty of old world idea's got through. It was however around two hundred years before the system really began to take control of the people in the fascist manner that America was set up against.
In that two hundred year window, and even after it, there has been amazing, art, literature, music and idea's to flow in a torrent from the world's only real large scale 'modern' melting pot. Like it or not, America is the one country on Earth that has such huge groups of co-existing displaced and re-placed groups of people from everywhere.

As we all know anyway, there is no such thing as race. National boundaries are merely projected by power players for the benefit of someone or another and genetic differences are virtually indistinct. We are all human, that much is obvious, and there are no differences that make a difference besides those that are cultural. Many rave on about the injustice of it, the terrible tyranny targeting the weaker nations, America and its evil agenda. When it is far more simple than that. It is not the United States we should be raging against. It is the machine. The corporations, the finance system. As the new French President pointed out recently, before putting through a thirty percent pay-cut for himself and his cabinet, 'the world of finance is my enemy'.

Our enemy is not America, it is a system that works through a strong entity like America. The system grows stronger even as America begins to let itself fade into lazy obesity. But the system moves toward the power base. Which is now in China, the new hub of economic power and military technology. The centre of power. The Chinese culture is remarkable and ancient, almost the opposite of the United States in a way. It is however now the place that will soon feel the eyes of the world boring into it on a far greater level than it has ever experienced in recent history. In this technological age, technology will be adapted by the machine to be used for the control of the masses. This process may in fact speed up because of the need that China will have to control information on a far greater scale. There is a chance now that the acceleration of global collusion of intelligence agencies will finally reach far faster fruition. It is merely logical that this should occur. The beast will roar, and humanity need steel themselves for it. For the shock-wave of this roar will be incredible.

The outcry and the protest that goes on at present against the system will dissolve because of the anarchic nature of it. It is not an organised movement with cohesive direction and philosophy. It is too disjointed and has too many people who profess to lead others. The system on the other hand has direction, means and age old delegated control patterns. Therefore, the only way forward is within the system. Through a continued objective of education, enlightenment and socio-cultural evolution. Which of course is possible. Those who think they can derail the machine by force are dreaming. The only conceivable way to save the future is too try to make things happen through means that are not confrontational and not potentially violent. Through age old methods of teaching, music, art and literature and so on. Through the law, politics, scientific reason, through philosophy, the often maligned practice of thinking about things.

Re-affirmation of the human capacity to do. The amazing complexity of the universe begins in side of every one of us. We are a universe unto ourselves, in that we each dwell in our own universe. Think about that. It is beautiful. The vampire system that tries to drain us is defeat-able through gradual enlightenment. The capacity for this is far from lost. The capacity to teach and be taught. Therefore the logical movement for those who wish to have a tangible impact on the progression of humanity as a whole is through existent political systems. Just as the right wing group 'The National Party' have taken control of the nation of New Zealand. So should a new political movement muster itself for a push at the seat of the demos across earth.

The people need to be motivated like never more to speak. In New Zealand for example those involved in the Green party and its potential collaborative groups need to begin a concerted effort to enrol voters and spread the word about the power of the common New Zealander and the vote they have and the potential strength of that vote. The day is far from lost. The struggle goes on, everyday. We must continue to try to right the wrongs and believe in each others potential, it is the only real way forward, beyond the idiocy of committing crime to protest crime, of attempting to spread fear to fight fear. We have a chance to continue the work of the great visionaries of the past. Those who saw the potential of the human spirit, the true beauty of it, in every child, woman and man.

It is real, we can save ourselves.

Political Jargon.

The National party has again been true to form. In typical conservative fashion they have striven to uphold conservative status and standing by tweaking and changing the situation for their benefit ( funnily enough), while they remain in power, while doing their utmost to convince the people of New Zeland that they are trying to sort things out for the good of the entire populace.

When they are cooly going about the business of getting rich. And damn deficits and the people who create them. The logic of the almighty dollar. Never mind that the entirety of a society contributes to the organsim that it is, and that the spectre of debt, has been shown to be be the ghost that it is, with huge debts being wiped around the world in some cases. The role of the politician now is so symbiotic with big business that it is hard to see where one ends and the other starts, too many heads in laps and up asses.

This has become the overwhelmingly clear situation in NZ in the last thirty years, as both Labour and National have thrown their lot in with powerful business entities in a way like never before. There is an uneasy feeling amongst the populace as they realise they have been duped, while some struggle to pretend that they believe they still made the correct decision, while others vociferously declare they are with National, and believe in John Key! Chilling really.

Still there is of course a ray of hope, that common-sense will indeed prevail. Simply because it should do, seeing as most are aware that the best interests of a society at large, are not to purposefully deprive some of its members of resources for the reason they cannot pay their own way, while other members of the same Aotearoa buy their third boat. It is ridiculous and supremely aggravating. There are better political options that exist in the interest of the New Zeland people as a group. There are people and groups of people becoming politically active who will be able to shape the future in a way that is beneficial to all.

We need to ask serious questions of the two elitist and centre right options that exist in Labour and National (I must say though, there are still true left minded individuals in the Labour party, even if the party at large has been hijacked by money grubbing bastards. There is a far greater need to begin concerted strategising and well organised campaigning than ever before in NZ politics, or the charade of differing political agenda's will continue, and eventually sell NZ from underneath us. Break on through to the other side people, we need to let the world know we will not be coerced into further slavery, the time is now...

Galactic questions

Recently it has dawned on me, like the sun at the end of a moonless night, that I know not nearly enough about the wondrous galaxy we are moving in and the other star systems that inhabit the universe it flys in. It has gradually become apparent to me that I should really make an effort to gain a greater understanding of it, its properties and its apparently eternal movement. It is disturbing that such a thing as this universe, which possibly holds all the information about the very formation of the situation we as a race find ourselves in, could become so ably ignored. A major problem of course being the common thread that is trotted out by many along the lines of 'we have it all figured out'. In fact, we certainly do not. We have idea's, idea's based on factual information that has been witnessed after the fact. Carl Sagan himself, in his 'Cosmos', says, 'maybe infinite'. We cannot understand this as mortal beings. We find ourselves with 'evidence' that something has occurred, and then try to piece this 'evidence' into a picture through calculations based on what we can measure and see. A big problem for science at present is the supposed existence of 'dark matter', that which we cannot measure and see. And yet this is not a big story for the world's media. Or for humanity at large, is that not strange to you at all? Why do we no longer look with incredible wonder to the heavens? Because we have figured it all out? It is to me absolutely laughable to suggest that we are anywhere close to having it figured out. The research must continue.
